"The Media Is Ignoring Romney's Strength With Independents"

In this article, Mary Kate Cary talks about how Obama's support in the major popular vote is the only things being broadcasted by the media, when there is a lot about independent voters that is being ignored. In the 2008 election Obama won many independent votes in the margin of error, giving him the win. A CNN poll from earlier in the month showed that while Obama was in the lead of the overall vote, Romney lead with a 54% of independent voters, compared to Obama's 40%. What was not in the news was that polls show that independent voters in two major swing states, Ohio and Florida, the percentage of independent voters in general has risen from 25 to 43.
Gallup polls show that two-thirds of independent voters said "is trying to do too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses." This is the opposite of what two-thirds of the democratic party think.
Mary Kat Cary seems to be on the Republican side of things but makes the most evident criticism at the end of the article when she claims that this type of information wasn't broadcasted in the media on purpose.
This information shows people how the democrats may not have the election as "in the bag" as they some may have thought. "Swing voters" can make a big difference in how the election turns out.
