"'Democrats For Romney' At Colorado Rally"

In this article one of Romney's rallies in Colorado is briefly described. Romney supporters gathered at Red Rocks Amphitheater, including "Democrats for Romney." Romney was pleased to see these people show up. He discussed how he and his running mate Paul Ryan have in common that they both want to "get the job done" by reaching out to not just Republicans, but to Democrats and Independents too. He claims that people should support him if they want "real change" and "real recovery."
This article could convince people that Romney is open to what everyone's opinion is. The way I see it, is that in the long run Mitt Romney can say he wants to work together to form solutions to America's problems with the ideas of Republicans, Democrats and Independents all together, but if that were possible why would the parties be so divided in the first place. It just doesn't seem plausible. "Democrats for Romney" is like "Jews for Jesus," how exactly does it work?
Walshe and Friedman seem to just be reporting on the rally, and don't take a clear stance.
